Driverless Rider is free to read. We cover our costs with advertising and, on some pages, with affiliate links (for example to hotels or travel bookings near a robotaxi service area).

What an affiliate link is

If you click certain links and book or buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Pages that contain affiliate links say so near the top.

What it doesn't change

  • Robotaxi operators can't pay to be included in a guide or to be described more favorably.
  • We tell you when a robotaxi is slower, pricier or less convenient than the alternative.
  • We never accept payment for accident or safety coverage.
